Intention Statement

My intentions for the next 12 months to come are to cultivate a mastery within myself in the field of game designing. Previously, I took a more generalist approach, but now I desire to take a more specialized route. The main goal I have in place for myself while attending Full Sail University is to at least publish three video games. Outside of school, more of a personal project, I want to develop one mobile app before the end of my master’s program. Establishing or joining a team dedicated to enhancing our professional career is also something I desire to launch prior to completion date as well. To ensure my commitment I will eliminate all leisure distractions until my daily objectives are met. During down time I will stay productive and work on tutorials that will improve my areas of focus. Also, I will seek out and join a studio to obtain more practice. The sooner the better, but before the end I plan to lock in a position at a local game studio, fulltime or an internship. Another option will be to take the indie route and work on my game design career through the military, where I will have more time. Also, as a single parent I plan to show my son what hard work and dedication will accomplish. I will prove to him that obtaining your dream and living a fulfilling life is the direction we should all move towards. I will strive to become more committed and focus every day to achieve the goals I have set in place for myself. I am grateful and honored to venture my journey. At the end of my Full Sail University professional journey I will be one step closer in joining the ranks of those who call themselves masters.
